Anwar lashes out at court and police

KULAI (Johor) – A speech by Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim was aborted after 10 minutes due to a protest by some 30 people, said to be from Umno Youth, on Sunday night.

The police moved in after he had started to speak to tell the organisers that the permit for the political rally had been cancelled.

Earlier, PKR information chief Tian Chua and Johor DAP chairman Dr Boo Cheng Hau had spoken without any interruption or disturbance. malaysianmirror
