LGE : Blatant lie & double-standard by Selangor CPO

On January 1st, 2010 CM Lim Guan Eng had wondered if the Selangor Police is a Barisan Nasional tool because a report has been lodged against Lim for making a seditious remark over Teoh Beng Hocks death.

Few days ago, Selangor CPO Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar has threatened to arrest Lim for refusing to cooperate with the police. In the media, Datuk Khalid is reported to say that Lim refused to give his statement to the police officer who was dispatched from Selangor to Lims office on Level 28 of Komtar, Penang.

Today, Lim gave a short press conference after the civil service gathering at Komtar Geodesic Dome. Lim said it is a blatant lie by the Selangor CPO Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar that he refused to have his statement taken. He asked the members of the media present if they had also witnessed his statement being taken and signed at his office when the police visited him a week ago. > cj.my
