LGE : Don't politicise land conversion

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng spoke about the land conversion issue for the Penang Heritage Hotel. Gerakan and UMNO Penang have accused CM Lim of misleading the Penang State Assembly, claiming that Lim converted a piece of land belonging to YTL and PDC from leasehold to freehold.

Lim stressed that he did not convert any state owned land. The piece of land belongs to YTL and not the state. Lim also urged Gerakan Teng Hock Nan not to politicise the issue. - 5xmom's Channel
